Drop waist dress in ivory cotton with a loose fitting body and pleat across the front creating a double-layer effect. Short rounded sleeves are attached to the shoulders with a band of embroidered flowers with open thread work from the back, over the shoulders and around the neck. Fit is adjusted with a self-fabric tie belt through loops at the side. Reverse has diagonal darts down to the dropped waist. Skirt finishes in a wide band of poplin over gently curving hem.
