Sleeveless column dress in alternate panels of matte and shine scarlet red satin-back crêpe. Round neckline and armholes bound in self-fabric. Fastened at the centre back with mother-of-pearl button on the keyhole opening. Front is decorated with multiple bands and ribbons of self fabric attached along front neck and then twisted and sewn down with seams across the body and released over the skirt to create a long ‘fringe’. Reverse is cut in diagonal bands of matte and shine. Full hem is cut to drape longer at one side.
