SPRING SUMMER 23 - HIGH TECH EDITORIAL INSPIRED BY "THE GLASS ROOM" NOVEL

The Spring Summer ’23 HIGH Tech collection is an ultra-contemporary mix of graphic black and white, electric colour and dramatically graphic shapes realised in the high-technology fabrics and transformed into full-flowing, modernist minimalist dresses, tech tailoring and athleisure sportswear.

The campaign takes inspiration from the novel ‘The Glass Room’ by Simon Mawer based on the story of The Villa Tugendhat designed by the German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe whose design philosophy fits perfectly with the concept of HIGH Tech.
Built in the eastern province of Moravia, the Villa Tugendhat is a stunning, poured-concrete dwelling that represents a highlight in the functionalist style of the 1920s.

The Tugendhat family’s saga, which inspired Simon Mayer’s 2009 Booker Prize-shortlisted novel “The Glass Room”, is also a Czech-Shot film “The Affair”, directed by Julius Sevic telling the extraordinary story of the house and its occupants and - also - deeply influenced by an aspect of the nation’s history not often spoken about by admirers — its remarkable architecture: for generations, the most treasured buildings were home to tragic events.
Simon Mayer’s book indeed influenced the environment in which the HIGH Tech has been portrayed featuring concrete, still and glass surfaces mixed with natural elements embodying the essence of the collection.
