Long overcoat in dark red and brown "two-tone" effect wool and cotton twill with an red top collar and notched revers on a double-breasted front fastened with six horn buttons. Fit seams extend below the waist and open into pleats creating fullness through the bell shape skirt. Jetted two-way flap pockets. Slightly padded shoulders with stitched-thru construction on long inset sleeves with a strap and button cuff. Reverse has multiple fit seams and a button-on half-belt across the back waist seam. Centre back vent. Wide hem section with an overstitched top edge. • Half lined in tartan check with a light wadding to make the garment warmer • Contrast binding on the seams • Striped lining in the sleeves • Embroidered label at back neck • The cotton and wool fabric is dyed with cotton dyes so that the wool fibre takes on a different tone, creating a two tone effect.
